If there is one snack I like, it is some good tortilla chips and salsa, so when I was in the store looking for some yummy-looking salsa and my eyes landed on one that I’ve previously overlooked, Pace Avacado Salsa.

I’ve never tried it before, so I had to give it a go.

As for ingredients, Pace Avacado Salsa claims to contain: Water, Jalapeno Peppers, Vegetable Oil (Soybean And/Or Canola Oil), Tomatillos, Onions, Avocado, Contains Less Than 2% Of: Salt, Distilled Vinegar, Cilantro, Xanthan Gum, Garlic, Natural Flavoring, Citric Acid, Lime Juice Concentrate, Ascorbic Acid

So this is really just a tomatillo salsa with some avocado added to it.

On the whole, I would say that it is decent. Nothing to rave about, but not horrible either. If anything, it is really lacking in enough avocado. It tastes more like the tomatillos than anything else.

If you want to give this salsa a try, you can likely find it in your local grocery store, or failing that, you can always pick some up on Amazon.

Personally I’m going to give making some avocado salsa from scratch and see if it goes from “meh…” to yummy.
