Are the Aged White Cheddar crisps from The Good Crisp Company any good?

That was my question when I saw them in the store. I’ve reviewed the regular crisps from The Good Crisp Company before and I liked those, so I was hopeful that aged cheddar version would be good as well.

Like the original crisps, the ingredient list is pretty clean for these crisps. They are non-GMO and gluten free. The only questionable ingredients would be palm oil and maltodextrin.

The Good Crisp – Aged White Cheddar Crisps Ingredients:

  • Dried Potato Flakes
  • Palm Oil (Vitamin E)
  • Tapioca Starch
  • Aged White Cheddar Seasoning (Whey, Salt, Nonfat Milk, Cheddar Cheese (Pasteurized Milk, Cheese Cultures, Salt, Enzymes)
  • Lactic Acid
  • Maltodextrin
  • Sunflower Oil
  • Citric Acid
  • Natural Flavors

Review of These Crisps

All in all, if you love a big shot of flavor and salt, then you will be deeply disappointed. These crisps are fairly subtle in their cheese flavor. That means that if you are used to more highly processed foods, it may not be edgy enough.

But if you are looking for a relatively clean snack chip, and want some cheddar flavor to boot, I’d give these crisps a thumbs up.

Where Can I Buy Good Crisps

If you can find them in your local store, that is the best place to find The Good Crisp products, but that isn’t always possible.

The next best place is on the The Good Crisps website.

Lastly, you can always get them on Amazon, though it is likely the most expensive option.
