In previous careers, I used to do remodeling, and I can tell you that more than once, I had to give people the bad news that a dripping sink had ruined their cabinets, floors, and even the subfloor and structure beneath it. This is a problem that a simple sink base liner could have solved.

There are several types of these, but the one I’m putting in this time is a simple silicone drip tray. If you aren’t familiar with them, they are very easy to install. This one just rolls out, and do a great job at protecting sink bases from drips and spilled/leaked chemicals you might have stored under your sink.

This liner is soft silicone and is easy to clean up when there is a spill. If you don’t have a liner under your sink, install one today. Don’t forget your bathroom sinks as well!

A slow drip under your sink can quietly destroy your cabinets and subfloor. This $10 liner is a lot cheaper than that repair bill.
